Lisa Lazuli Astrology: Writing about oneself is hard, so let me see...

Proudly born and brought up in the amazingly exciting, eclectic, mine dump dotted city of gold Johannesburg. Went to St Marys Waverley until I moved to Sandown High; the best snap decision I ever made. Only child to a single Mom and definitely a member of the Sammons family - yes I have the temper and the passion.

Studied BCom Law at WITS before finishing my degree in Economics at Warwick Uni in the patchwork countryside of Warwickshire.

After Uni I took a sharp left turn down the mystical alleyway of the occult and studied astrology later becoming a regular guest on many BBC and UK radio stations and writing for AsianWoman Magazine.

During this time I self studied the for the ICAEW Chartered Accountants exams and did rather well in all of them - have not done the last two due to various matters arising in the hurley burly battle of life.

My novel A Sealed Fate was inspired by my work in astrology and my love of writing and drama. Writing was actually my weakest subject at school being more of a maths and science bof, but my BFF Sayoko spotted my talent from my emails to her and really encouraged me to write a book. Just shows that kind support from a mate can change your life and this taught me how encouraging talent in others is so important.

I now help promote other authors, I am about to release my second thriller, working on my third and have an astrology and health book in the pipeline.

I have also campaigned for justice in trials where the wrong verdict was clearly reached ie Louise Woodward, Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito.

I was part of the Ian Collins Show People's parliament and was invited to chat on TalkSport on political and sporting issues as well as as an expert on the Amanda Knox trial.
