SCORPIO

You are working hard and seem to be continually clock watching or calendar watching to see if you are on schedule.  This quarter you may find yourself beating up about how much you should have done by this stage – you need to thoroughly analyse what you have done as there is no need to be hard on yourself as you have achieved more than you think you have.  Scorpio’s will be thinking ahead to a big treat you have planned, a treat which you thoroughly deserve and are planning carefully for.  Very future orientated Scorpio are prepared to sacrifice small pleasure for an austere lifestyle right now as the bigger goal is very much more important.  The big treat may be travel related or connected to a major life landmark goal.
Relationships and their dynamics will have a marked effect on yourself esteem at the end of April during the solar eclipse.  Single Scorpio may jump into ill-advised relationships (with friends or colleagues) merely for the completeness a steady relationship can give.
The eclipse will however strengthen and solidify good relationships reminding you and your partner what love and togetherness means.  Shaky negative relationships will crumble.
Achieving inner peace and living in harmony with others in general is important to you.  Scorpio are also reaching out to others to lend support and assistance; being a good friend or good Samaritan to a stranger fulfils a need in you right now to be part of the bigger picture.

WORK

For Scorpions who work with people this can be a period where your ability to create a very personal connection with these people can give you the edge in either providing for them, giving them better service or helping them.  Your excellent judge of character means that you can sense the weaknesses of others and use that to your advantage – you should not do this is a negative selfish way, but rather in a way whereby working with that person you are both better off.  Your work may bring you into contact with hospitals, prisons, care homes or foster homes.  Scorpions may help other using their own personal experience ie former addictions, lessons learned from illness recovery or weight loss. Scorpio can be powerful teachers this period, but the lessons will be intensely personal: about your journey and what you learned.  Your own pain can help others going through the same, so be inspired to share Scorpio.

SAGITTARIUS

A period of upheaval with quite a few things coming to a head in the areas of finance and business relationships.  Money concerns are a key element of this with you having to look to reinvest or refinance.  Sagittarians, unless they are gifted with a Capricorn Mercury are not generally good with money and so this will require some concentration.  Do be careful if taking advice that the person giving the advice is not going to benefit: the key is independent advice, perhaps even from a citizen’s advice organisation or government body.
Do not take your health for granted as the solar eclipse in late April may bring to a head health issues you have turned a blind eye to.  Seek health advice and look to your diet and the changes you can make in terms of solutions to health issues.

WORK

In business partnership you may have to take a strong approach to making sure that funds are fairly allocated.  You may use your talents to benefit a local group or charitable organisation.  If you use these talents in your line of work it may be a key way of getting some exposure.  Concentrate on what you are passionate about and look to see how you can make money from this – your passion could just be the answer to your money worries.
You really do need to feel more satisfaction at work and perhaps you need to think more clearly about how this can be achieved: should you look for a new job?  Should you try and improve work relationships? Can you reduce your stress level at work?  How can your work be less psychologically draining?  Can you improve relations with your boss?  The solar eclipse will give you an opportunity to make some changes at work which will both increase your productivity and your enjoyment at work.  Work in co-operation with others at your work to change things for all of you for better.

CAPRICORN

A spirit of giving has not been left behind now that it is spring: Capricorn are motivated by community and if they have the ability to give they will be generous to both charity and friends in need.  It is one of those periods when Capricorns will feel a great oneness with fellow man, as an earth sign this is natural, but being ruled by Saturn can make Capricorns feel very separate and thereby isolated.  You will feel able to open up and also more able to accept the quirks in others.  More at home with yourself you are easily able to make new friends and display your tactile, emotional side.
The solar eclipse in April will encourage the creative spark within you.  You are feeling a little risky and ‘out there’ and it’s fun throwing caution to the wind.  Capricorns are in touch with the child within and as a result are acting with joie de vivre and the freedom to be creatively expansive.
If you are a parent, you will be able to bond with your children and share their joys and experiences in a new and fulfilling way for you both.

WORK

Inclusivity is really important in the work place ie making everyone feel needed and responsible for something important.  As a boss or leader it is vital to recognise everyone for their unique contribution and foster their talents.
A sense of order and balance gives Capricorn a flare for creating structure, bringing harmony and more organisation to the work situation.  If you work for yourself or run your own business this is a good time to re-organise and make the processes and relationships at your company more harmonious and smoothly flowing.  It is also a highly productive and creative quarter for Capricorn in building, architecture, property development and landscaping – the challenges will be exciting and you will have great scope to use your artistic side.

How do you deal with people whose values, attitudes and beliefs are diametrically opposed to yours/  Gemini are in a position where you are having to work with and go along with either a company, relative or associate whose way of going about things is conflicting with the way you believe things should be done.  It’s a matter of principle on which you disagree and the fundamental difference is making your life and your position untenable.  Gemini must decide whether to pull back from this situation or to go along in the short run to avoid letting people down.  Long term you will have to disengage from dealing with this person/people and perhaps now is the time that you will see that.
The solar eclipse on April 28 will have you thinking about money: material status and financial reward will be a focus as will envy and striving to do better and have more.  Do not allow your eagerness to become recklessness when it comes to both earning and spending – do not gamble with resources in a hasty ill thought out manner.  Conspicuous and impulsive spending can be a part of this – so guard against spending more than you have or running up debt.  Ask yourself: do I need this? Why am I really buying this? Is this purchase about pride and ego?  Can I afford it?
This is be a very prosperous period financially as long as you are not motivated out of pride and ego.
On a deeper level this solar eclipse can bring about circumstances where you are forced to draw on the deep reserves of strength and mental energy you have – it may lead to one of those experiences where you realise how strong you are.
While some Gemini will redefine how they stand in the world via financial gain and wealth, with other Gemini, it will be all about the inner riches: dealing with a circumstance will suddenly help you achieve a greater sense of psychological security and a deeper connection with who you really are.

APRIL-JUNE for ARIES


Aries are making some grand plans for the future.  It’s the end of winter (in the NH of course) and time to look ahead.  You are filled with a vision of where you would like to be and the passion to begin making those changes.  Your leadership ability is in full swing and you are ready to persuade others and set the ball rolling.  This is the time when you will feel the impetus get going on things which have hovered in the back of your mind just waiting for the right time.  More haste less speed is the motto and you should not become angry when things do not flow; keep in mind that many of your goals are long term and need consistent effort not overnight miracles.
The solar eclipse on April 28 will throw the spotlight on the spiritual side of your life: meaning and soul-growth.  Aries are a sign to whom faith matters, whatever faith means to the individual and this May, you will be increasingly aware of the inter connectedness of your physical and spiritual nature.  A prayer answered, a dream that is prophetic or a strange coincidence – all these things may be factors in increasing the amount of importance you place on the non-mundane or non-physical side of life.  Faith in the universe, God, Jesus, Allah, Nature – whichever vessel you prefer – will be vital to how you cope and grow this period.
Do not allow fears and feelings which you are repressing to make you evasive and secretive.  Your secretive and deceptive side is actually more transparent during the eclipse and so even if you feel you must keep something secret or hidden or silent – don’t.  Speak about it, let it out, and lay it on the table.  Correct something rather than conceal it.

APRIL HOROSCOPE TAURUS

With relationships running more smoothly, it is to work, health and fitness your mind turns.  You need more organisation and more consistency in these fields instead of bursts of discipline and then major fall off the wagons.  You have had phases of intense work, then you have thrown yourself at the treadmill and downed a ultra-healthy smoothly followed by a cigarette and a sickie – maybe not literally OK – but your work- life balance is totally out of balance and you need to address this and to have a more realistic approach to these things.  Excesses of work and exercise can do more damage than good and you need to reduce the extremes in your life.  Taurus is a sign prone to extremes, but unlike Scorpio who thrive on extremes, Taurus do not.
The solar eclipse in Taurus on April 28 will encourage you to be mindful of your personal development which means growth, confidence and self-image.  Taureans are very strong minded, but you do need to be more aware of your weaknesses, not in a PLOM (ie Poor Little Old Me) way, but in a realistic way, so that you can work on them. Think about your strengths and which traits let you down in life: think about how you can control those more troublesome traits.

The self-doubt you may feel as part of the eclipse is just a call to be more aware of how others perceive you – life is a game after all and we all need to have a think about how we can play the game of life better. LOVE in 2014 for Water Signs - Cancer, Pisces and Scorpio.

PISCES
For single Pisceans this is a year of opportunity as you feel sexually attractive and proactive and are willing to take the lead in social situations.  Powerful emotions and desires may cloud your better judgement at times inclining you to don the old rose coloured glasses and this is a danger.  You are impatient in all things romantic and may feel frustrated when things do not move quickly or in the idealised way you imagined.  You also need to stop and analyse whether your emotional craving and romantic feelings are really in line with your true needs and values – they may fall out of sync meaning that you will not achieve a lasting relationship only an ephemeral romance.
That said this is a time for the often shy Piscean to come out of their shell and shine on the social scene.  You will find it easier to go with your heart and enjoy life to the full.

CANCER
In relationships it is easy for you to talk about your feelings right now, Cancerians, which will go a long way to helping keep things going.  Relationship-wise it is rather tough going as 2014 starts for existing relationships.  It is not that the relationships themselves are flawed but rather that with all the stress and distractions going on about you it is very hard not to let that spill into the bedroom.  Communication and keeping your partner informed about where you are at emotionally and how you are doing and coping can certainly help you both navigate this time of change.  For Canerians married to Libra, Capricorn and Aries this will be magnified as all the cardinal signs are going through a time of turmoil and upheaval.  Solid relationships will thrive under the pressure even if you are both a little exhausted for passion.  Later in the year as you adjust the romantic and spontaneous side of the relationship will spark into life with more chance for social and recreation activities.
Single Cancer will seek out friendships with men rather than full on romance from the get go – friendships will blossom into love later on in 2014 when you will tend to feel more relaxed.  Again communication and shared GSOH will be the benchmark for your relationships as you are very ‘real’ this year – no rose coloured glasses, no fantasy, no puppy love crushes – you will look to the core of the relationship and if it ain’t going anywhere you will not be biting.

SCORPIO

Criticism and very high standards may make love and romance hard to come by for single Scorpio.  There will be no shortage of dates or desirable possibilities, but are you likely to commit to one boyfriend – not really, you have someone very specific in mind and are happy to wait.  Although your eagerness to go steady (if that is not too old fashioned a word) is absent, you may find that your dates are more than willing to take it further so do be clear in all your signals to avoid unwanted attention.  Single Scorpio are enjoying the single life and will setting for sparkling on the social scene rather than cuddling on the sofa with one guy.

2014 for the Mutable Signs – Pisces, Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius

GEMINI
Gemini are taking the proactive, go getting attitude from last year into 2014.  Gemini often scatter energy and tend to lack focus, but from the end of 2013 and into 2014 the drive to tackle life, improve efficiency and  jump into the things which usually you don’t have the courage to tackle is yours.  You are competitive and will take action to get your life on track.  Finishing jobs, speeding up your routines and making your life run more smoothly is your aim.

PISCES
2014 will be a far more productive year where you will feel that you have made concrete steps towards both making progress and implementing change in the projects and areas of life you desire.  Your optimism and energy will both carry you through and your obvious enthusiasm will win you support and help inspire those around you.  Pisces are not leaders in that you find it hard to give orders, however you do lead in a different way via your vision, insight and passion for what you do.

VIRGO
This is an empowering time for Virgo where you will find it easier to assert yourself and push yourself to the fore. Virgos are modest and shy and so it is not in your nature to be a forerunner, however as the year goes on you will find that people turn to you for advice and because they value your experience or your expertise in various fields.  It is via this advisory capacity that you will exert power and authority.  Many at your work or even in your family are taking the time to appreciate your perfectionism and attention to detail as well as your characteristic critical eye which can cut to the heart of any matter.

SAGITTARIUS
It may be relationships that have become rather controlling.  A deep discussion may have been put off as you are both too busy, too rushed or there are more pressing priorities.  That good talk is way overdue: you need to set an evening aside to talk to your partner about where you are at in the relationship: what needs to change; how can you recapture romance; how can you adjust to each other’s needs in a way which is fairer and how will you get more quality time together.   Sagittarians are nor confrontation unless they have an occasional outburst of temper; but these outburst may achieve nothing.  Slamming the door and going for a long walk may clear your head, but is it constructive.  You have swept some things under the carpet and put up with others and now it is time for a long rational talk when you are both calm to lay down some new relationship guideline.  After this tension will abate and you will be able to enjoy the precious time you have together with your partner without the unsaid and unspoken issues creating a downer.  Do not expect your partner to read your mind and do not be vague – be honest and specific about your feelings.

PISCES – How is 2014 going so far??

The frustration for Pisces this quarter is that you will not bear the direct benefit from the surge of activity and energy you are experiencing.  Your efforts will be directed towards the organisation or business administration of a third party.  For Pisces who work in stockbroking or finance this can be a very fruitful time for speculation and investment: hunches and personal knowledge can give you an edge.  In both cases the warning is to not take undue risks with property and investments which are not yours.
Concerned with inequalities and injustice you may find yourself in the role of advisor or champion of the underdog in some way.  This is a chance to use your relatively more superior social status, education or knowledge of the law to help some person or group achieve a fair result or a chance at improving their plight.  Emotional involvement may be cathartic on a level for you, but you must retain some detachment so that you do not become overwhelmed by the whole project.
On a personal level be careful that strong emotions which arise from deep seated or subconscious resentments do not lead to neurotic and erratic behaviour which could undermine work and social relationships.

LOVE
This is a time when many Pisceans may make a firm commitment and so bended knee and marriage proposals should not come as a surprise.  In marriages, compromise is vital and there may be a need for a re-declaration of commitment after a betrayal of trust which may not be an affair, but rather a breakdown in mutual respect and drifting apart.  No relationship just flows like a steam, every now and again there must be a bend or a swirling weir which in addressing you rediscover element of the union which may have been neglected of misunderstood.
Single Pisceans may be surprised to learn that a platonic friends has carried a candle for them for many a year – give it a try, why not?

WORK
Work will tend to be behind the scenes and even though reward per se may not be forthcoming the goal is bigger than any one individual and that is where the satisfaction comes from.  Principles of justice, truth and the pursuit of constructive values is central to the work ethic.  You will be motivated to work hard as you are keen to make a good impression. Any criticism may be taken unduly hard and you must try and have a thick skin and rise above it if you are treated or spoken to unfairly as the focus is more on the goal than the individual, it is not personal.  In general relations with co-workers should be amicable and there will be a positive spirit of cooperation – or should I say mutual suffering at the coal face.  Your colleagues will give you moral support and some good advice.

How has the year started for Aquarius?

Aquarius – Opening Months of 2014
Work motivation may have not kicked in yet, but your passions for other areas of life have hit the ground running.  Aquarians are having a large dose of New Year optimism for the more enchanting aspects of life – you want to make 2014 count and that does not mean in the accounting sense.  A life audit last year made many Aquarians take a long hard look at where they are and while on the surface things may look good, it’s “only the heart that sees rightly” and so while the pros may exceed the cons as far as the material side of life goes, that is far from satisfactory and Aquarians are looking for meaning this year. I think Aquarians know in their heart what would make their lives zing and perhaps what has been lacking is the impetus to get cracking.  Whenever you are living life for the moment and being a free spirit you can guarantee that someone will be trying to criticise and control you – perhaps even reign you in.  January is ideal for defining your needs diplomatically to those who care about – planning things now and getting the people around you on board will go a long way to making it easier for you to fulfil new goals and needs especially those which are not easy for others to understand.
LOVE:
Do not be distant – communication in new and older relationships is vital.  Do not isolate yourself either.  Passions will run high this period and bearing in mind your ‘searching’ mentality you may jump quickly into an ill-advised liason – be it a one night stand or an affair.  By all means pursue what feels right and what makes you feel alive, but bear in mind the stakes and the risks.  If you do act, take it a touch more slowly and ask yourself, “Is this really what I hope it is.”
WORK:
A very productive time for working in teams and creating harmony in your work environment.  Introducing new technology and helping those you work for or with to switchover is likely.  It is best to get contracts signed, new terms of employment negotiated and resumes sent out before Mercury turns retrograde on the 22^nd of January.    Your mind will be inclined to drift off into a dreamworld and so this is not an ideal time for intensive study, deadlines or detailed precision work.  Try to put off the aforementioned or delegate it out. The best use of these period is in creative planning for your business or learning new skills – if you are an employee you may well be sent to learn new IT skills or management training.  Union representation or other political interests you get involved with ie action groups, pressure groups and lobbies will keep you very busy and provide a social outlet.

What does 2014 hold for the Fire Signs – Horoscope 2014

Are you a FIRE sign? What do the opening months of 2014 hold for Aries, Leo and Sagittarius. Lisa Lazuli author of Horoscope 2014: Astrology and Numerology Guide to 2014 gives us a sneek preview.

Are you looking in the mirror wondering what 2014 will hold? Do you feel at an important crossroads? Do you need direction or a kick start? Are you wondering ‘what now’ in terms of love and relationships? How are the Stars lining up for you in 2014? What opportunities can they supply the energy for? 

Arians are being cajoled and persuaded to do things this period – not that it is all bad for you or against your will, but you will need some outside encouragement.  Arians are doers, but only when they can see results quickly, they need an added push as the year gets going to put some more effort into those things which do not provide instant gratification or fast progress.  It is a busy time family-wise and your home will be a hive of activity perhaps it is a big family birthday or wedding which you are having a big role in.  This is a very positive time for Arians who are moving home or renovating their home; although there may be some battles with the builders to hurry things on.

Relationships with older family members are especially important and you are feeling a new bond with both the older generations in your family and a deeper connection with your family heritage.  Arians may research family trees or connect more frequently with more distant relatives.  There is a philosophical outlook based on a strong sense of rediscovering who you are and where you came from.

 
Horoscope 2014

Leos need to curb a need to worry: these worries could well be about matters to do with family or the home or property.  It is a great time to clear out, tidy up and perhaps look to renovate and deal with some of the off times gross jobs like repairs and garage tidy ups.  On a more esoteric level; Leos need to get rid of the old useless stuff and of the clutter which has made life less liveable.  It is also a time when you will be forced to get to grips with the things you have stuffed away in a deep recess of your mind – on a more literal level clearing out old correspondence, cards, gifts and giving these things away or recycling them will not only clear your cupboards but clear your mind.  Letting go is often hard for Leo as you are sentimental, but there is a line to be drawn. Are the things you cling to holding you back – if so it’s time for them to go.

It is escapism Sagittarians seek via love, romance and the arts.  Work, effort and the daily commute will be far from your mind as you drift off into a mental never-never land.  It is not a very motivated time here in the material world, but Sagittarians are certainly making hay in dreamland.  It may be harder for Sag who do not work in the arts to harness that creative energy.  There can be disagreements with friends over money and so it is best not to lend money to friends or even go out together where you intend to split the bill as things will not pan out and the whole things may escalate and damage a good friendship.
